Brer Rabbit, also known as `Brother Rabbit`, was inspired by a 17th-century Italian silk and first registered for fabric production in 1882. The pattern`s characteristically cheeky bunnies are based on the Uncle Remus children`s books, popular in the 19th century. The wallpaper has been reproduced from the original fabric in two bluish colourways.
